   2009 ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers

                      May 18-20, 2009

We ask for proposals for workshops to be organized in
conjunction with the 2009 ACM International Conference on
Computing Frontiers. Proposals for workshops are welcome
which relate to the topics of interests of the main conference
(see below). Please submit your Workshop proposals (no more
than 2 pages) to

   Josef Weidendorfer (weidendo@cs.tum.edu)

on or before _Nov. 7th, 2008_.


Workshop organizers are responsible for the timing of submission
deadlines and the review process for their workshop.
Please include the following information in your proposal:

* Proposed title 
* Organizers and affiliations (and further members of program
  committee)
* Workshop duration:
  half day (around 4 talks) / full day (around 8 talks)
* A sample call for papers, including the workshop’s main topics
  and submission deadlines

- Service oriented architecture (SOA) and system impact;
- Supercomputing;
- SOC architectures, embedded systems and special-purpose
  architectures;
- Temperature, energy, and variability-aware designs;
- Fault tolerance and reliability at all levels of the system;
- System management and security;
- Quantum and nano-scale computing;
- Computational biology;
- Reconfigurable computing and architecture prototyping;
- Autonomic and organic computing;
- Computation intelligence frontiers: theory and industrial
  applications.
