SPECIAL SESSIONS

Collaborative Projects (Call for Abstracts)

CF'25 will feature a special session focused on collaborative projects addressing the topics of interest of the conference, including but not limited to novel computational models and algorithms, AI on the edge, new application paradigms, computer architecture (from embedded to HPC systems), computing hardware, memory technologies, networks, storage solutions, compilers, and environments. We encourage submissions from projects funded by funding agencies across the world: EU, DARPA, IARPA, DOE, ESA, NASA, etc.

The goal of this session is to provide a venue for increasing the visibility of current research and development collaborative projects and creating a forum for collaboration. The special session is also an opportunity to discuss future research projects and search for partnerships.

New this year: In addition to ongoing projects, we will also welcome submissions on newly accepted projects, which will be invited for short presentations during the conference.

Submissions

Project Coordinators are invited to submit an abstract (1 page of text, A4 or letter paper size, free format) presenting the goals of the project, recent achievements, and lessons learned from the project. The abstracts should be sent by e-mail to the special session co-chairs by February 21st, 2025 (AOE). Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail on March 3rd, 2025 (AOE). The accepted abstracts will be invited to prepare a 6-page camera-ready paper. The deadline for the camera-ready submission is April 7th, 2025. All accepted abstracts or optional 6-page papers will be published in the workshop proceedings of Computing Frontiers in the ACM digital library. Submission instructions for the camera-ready version will be provided at a later date.

Note that all accepted abstracts are expected to be presented in person at the conference and at least one full registration is required from one of the authors of an accepted abstract.
